Before it approves a sale, 7 Brew asks these things

1. Qualifying is required for the buyer and each of its owners. A buyer who already owns a franchise must be in substantial compliance with its other 7 BREW agreements.
2. No breach is allowed; the seller also needs to have paid every amount due and sent in all reports.
3. A competitive business is off limits for the buyer and its owners and affiliates.
4. Completed training is required.
5. For the expected term, the buyer must have use of the Store's site; the transfer fee also has to be paid.
6. It's up to the franchisor whether the buyer takes on the existing agreement or signs the franchise agreement form that's then current.
7. Agreeing to repair and upgrade the Store is required of the buyer.
8. Where state law allows, the seller and the transferring owners have to sign a general release.
