|---|---|---|---|---|

Before you buy, a brand has to hand over its Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD); the brand's latest one is where every figure comes from. A royalty is what you keep paying the brand once you open, either a share of sales or a set amount. A K stands for thousand, an M for million. Each brand's own FDD shares sales or earnings figures (open a brand to see them). The Minnesota Department of Commerce received every FDD filing here in 2026.
Item 7: where your money goes
For this price, most of the money covers three months of working capital, equipment, training and the franchise fee; Item 7 spells out each line. For this group, the middle low end comes to $93,485.
