Privacy notice

• The advice form collects your name and email, a phone number if you add one, which state you plan to open in, the help you want, your cash band, any note and the brands you mention.
• Each form also records the page it was sent from, the time, your IP address and the user agent of your browser, plus the exact consent wording that sat beside the send button.
• Our hosting provider keeps server logs showing the time, browser type, IP address and which pages were requested.

No cookies are set here and no outside company runs advertising or analytics scripts on the site. Picks, sort order and the cash amount stay in your browser's local storage when you use the comparison and loan tools. They're still there on your next visit, and the data never leaves your device.

Form details have only two uses: passing your request on to one provider and keeping a record that you asked for it. Server logs help us keep the site running and secure.

Form details go to a single provider in your chosen category: a franchise consultant, an SBA lender or a franchise attorney. For that introduction, the provider may pay us. We also work with service providers who store data for us and host the site. We do not sell your personal information to data brokers for money, and targeted advertising is never a reason we share it.

Living in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Texas gives you rights under state privacy laws. You have the right to know the personal information that we hold about you. The same laws give you the right to get a copy, correct it, have it deleted and opt out of any sale and any sharing. If you live in another state, you can ask for the same and we'll handle it the same way. Asking for any of this never changes the service you get from us.

To make a request, write to hello@franchisecomparator.com using the email address you entered on the form. Our Do Not Sell or Share page is another way to ask. You might have to confirm the request using that email address. Someone you authorize in writing can make these requests on your behalf.

This site is meant for adults who plan to buy a business. Information about anyone younger than 16 is never gathered on purpose.
