Can you buy an In-N-Out franchise?
No. In the United States, In-N-Out Burger doesn't offer franchises for sale. The company is family-owned and not one of its units is a franchise.
According to In-N-Out's own media kit, no units are franchised, and there are no plans to offer franchises or go public. So you won't find a franchise fee or an FDD; running one is only possible if you work for the company. See the In-N-Out media kit.

Before you buy, a brand has to hand over its Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD); the brand's latest one is where every figure comes from. After you open, the royalty is what you still pay the brand: a share of sales or a set amount. The Sales or earnings shown entry tells you if a brand shares what its locations take in. A K stands for thousand, an M for million. The filing year is the year that FDD was listed with the Minnesota Department of Commerce.
