Before Domino's approves a sale, it asks for the following

1. Full compliance is required of the seller, and the buyer must qualify.
2. Other Domino's Stores aside, the buyer may not run any other pizza store business.
3. The buyer signs the Franchise Agreement in its current form.
4. If the franchisor asks, the Store must be refurbished.
5. The buyer must finish training.
6. A transfer fee has to be paid.
7. When you sign the Purchase Agreement for the Store, you must also sign a Rider to Purchase Agreement.
8. At transfer, by mutual agreement, the parties sign a customary release along with a mutual termination agreement, subject to state law.

Where to look for a Domino's franchise for sale

Units on the market don't appear in the FDD. Owners sell via business brokers and listing sites, so check with Domino's's franchise team too about whether a nearby owner is selling.

It's the seller who sets the price. Request profit and loss statements covering three years, and compare the price with the $231,450 to $743,500 it costs to open a new Domino's.
