Servpro's requirements before it approves a sale

1. The seller gives details on the incoming owner.
2. The seller is not in default, with every outstanding debt settled.
3. The new franchisee meets the qualifications.
4. The transfer fee gets paid and the purchase agreement is turned in.
5. Training has been completed.
6. The incoming owner signs the agreement now in use.
7. A general release is signed by the seller.
8. On a sale or transfer, the seller must buy tail coverage insurance for up to 3 years.
