Before European Wax Center approves a sale, here's what it asks

1. Payment is required for every amount owed to the franchisor and its affiliates.
2. Unless applicable law prohibits it, the General Release must be signed by the seller and buyer.
3. Buyers must meet the business and financial standards set by the franchisor.
4. The franchisor decides: the buyer either signs the franchise agreement current at that time or is assigned the agreement in place.
5. Either the seller or buyer pays a transfer fee equal to 20% of the then-current franchise fee, reduced by the processing fee.
6. The Nondisclosure and Non-Competition Agreement is signed by the buyer and each of its equity owners.
7. Before managing the center, the buyer's center manager must finish initial training.
