What Great Clips asks for before approving a sale

1. The buyer must meet personal and financial qualifications.
2. The new form of Franchise Agreement must be signed by the buyer, but only for the rest of the seller's term.
3. Under the Franchise Agreement, the buyer takes on responsibility for every ongoing or future fee owed, including any unpaid amounts.
4. Great Clips' General Release and Guaranty must be signed by the buyer and by each of the buyer's shareholders.
5. The assignment fee must be paid when it applies.
6. The buyer must complete mandatory training, and Great Clips' satisfaction is required.
7. If liability under the salon lease is ongoing for Great Clips, the buyer must provide indemnification to Great Clips before consent is given.
8. Unless the seller sells every salon and leaves the system, the salon must be in operation at the time of assignment.
